Applications

Pulse thyristors are mainly used as high current and high voltage switching elements in high-power electronic equipment for controlled rectification, inversion, voltage regulation, contactless switching, etc. They are widely used in industrial fields such as induction heating, frequency converters, motor control, UPS and power supplies. TECHSEM pulse thyristors can handle a rise of current up to 3000A/us with the reverse voltage up to 6500V and pulse pick current up to 300kA.

Applications

High-power pulse diodes are primarily used to protect circuits from transient over-voltages, such as electrostatic discharge (ESD) and lightning surges. They can quickly conduct when a high-voltage pulse passes through, diverting excess energy to the ground to protect sensitive electronic components, and quickly return to the disconnected state after protection. TECHSEM pulse diodes can offer the reverse voltage up to 8500V and pulse pick current up to 100kA.

Applications

Reversely Switching Dynistors (RSDs) are used for fast and safe switching and protection in high power systems, especially when large currents need to be quickly disconnected to protect the safety of equipment and personnel. The main applications include safety protection of photovoltaic systems, pulse power supply, equipment failure protection, Electromagnetic pulses and particle accelerators etc. TECHSEM RSDs provide not only high reverse voltage (up to 3000V) and very high peak current (up to 250kA), but also  very high di/dt (up to 60kA/us) and dv/dt (up to 1kV/us).
