Applications

TECHSEM discrete diodes are mainly used in rectifications, blocking diodes as protection from reverse voltage and inductive spikes, clipping and clamping for shaping voltage waveforms in signal processing circuits. Combined together with discrete thyristors, the diodes can also be used in power conversion and switching modules.

Applications

As key components, TECHSEM discrete IGBTs are used in 3-level inverters, bridge inverters and PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuits. In addition, TECHSEM IGBTs are also used in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), electrical welding, renewable energy and motor drives.
